System configuration that measures traffic volume (number of vehicles, speed) and detects and determines sudden events (stop, low speed, congestion, dodging, reverse driving) using millimeter wave radar
Conventional sudden event determination systems used a visible light surveillance camera, which was significantly affected by light such as weather conditions, sunlight and car headlights. Millimeter-wave radar has a longer wavelength than visible light (surveillance cameras, etc.) and infrared light (lasers and infrared cameras), so it is less attenuated by rainfall, etc. Since it is not affected by weather conditions or by external light, it exhibits a high detection performance.
